Replay description

Settle down lads and lasses, I'll tell you a bedtime story, of what O4kill did in the war.

I started a battle in the T-34-85M, then went emergency afk. :( shame on me. Stalingrad, we're south spawn.

Came back to find the battle still on, 4 tanks on the enemy team (one a FV304 arty), and just myself (full health) and a M40/43 arty on 74 hp. Well, time to earn my keep.

  • #1 I take off toward the enemy base. One enemy tank is momentarily spotted, then he disappears. Back by our base. Not where I want them. He kills the M40/43. I start to circle back toward. SIREN! 1 enemy capping! I come in and draw him off the cap circle. It's a T28 HTC. I expect to die, but charge him, eat a couple hits, land one hit in the side, circle around, auto-aim won't pen from the rear and he's turning toward me and as soon as it hits green on the side I fire. Scratch one enemy tank.

  • #2 Time for me to go cap! I try to be sneaky in my direction from where I was last spotted, but run into - almost literally - a Hellcat. He takes me down to one shot. I fire at him, repair my tracks, come in for the ram (not enough) and he bounces off me. Auto-aim is on, wait for the reload. That's one hellcat off to go play Hello Kitty.

  • #3 There are 2 tanks on the enemy team. The Strv 74 is dangerous and was last spotted near enemy cap. The FV304 is more dangerous because that arty can joust like Sir Lancelot, and I will die to a simple splash. I go a-hunting arty, spot him near where the Strv was. I hide behind a building, forgetting that i have 6th Sense and when he doesnt fire, cautiously poke my head out one side and shoot. Miss. BEEP! Spotted! He away down an street. I run to go down the parallel street, intending to turn off at the last moment and come around from behind to get him. BEEP! Spotted! The Strv 74 is tipped on his side inside a supposedly non-accessible cluster of houses and has proxy spotted me. I try to see if I can shoot him (miss), he attempts to shoot me as I drive past (miss). Then I proxy spot the arty coming full tilt back around the rosy. I don't play chasey-chasey-catchy-killy, thank you very much! I turn around and pre-aim at the corner.

  • #4 Arty comes around. I fire and back up full throttle hoping to throw off the return fire. Wait a second, is that a Critical Hit notice? I tracked him aiming at the corner of the house and I'm safe! Unless he uses a repair kit! Faster, Leytenant Tugay! I need AP in the chamber! The last thing the FV304 does is let me reload, cause I let him have it.

  • #5 Now to examine the problem of this recalcitrant Strv. In retrospect I might have done better with the medal for capping out all by myself, but this doesnt occur to me. This honorable warrior has attempted to fight from his maimed position, and we will give him a warriors death. By which I mean I unceremonially went around to the other side where the rubble was lower and shot him 4 times in the back. But I shot him in the engine, in an attempt to save ammo give him a hero's pyre. He attempts to return fire but hits the rubble instead.
