but... could somebody explain to me how should I have played better in this situation? (I am referring to the final 1v1 if I can name it, it was intense and didn't know what to do and did not have much time to think)

My thought process was that I will try to kill Ho-Ri as soon as possible and then, with a bit of luck, I could kill that Su.

Any other options?

The equipment: Improved aiming unit (regular), rammer (regular), Vert. Stab. (regular)
Crew: A pretty good one (all of them are having 3+ skills.
